<p><a href=”http://www.gingerhotels.com”>Ginger hotels </a> run by Roots Corporaton (a subsidiary of Indian Hotels Limited which also runs the Taj group of hotels) has been creating a lot of buzz in the Indian tourism industry lately. </p>
<p>One of the first budget hotels with a 3 star status, the 8 Ginger Hotels offer competitive pricing (a single room for as little as $25/night and a double room for as little as $45/night) and the basic amenities to provide business travelers and India’s burgeoning middle class a simple alternative to expensive hotels and cheap lodges. The hotel cuts it’s cost by offering it’s customers self-parking, self-checkin, ironing faciltiies on each floor, cyber cafe, gym, on-site ATM’s and other faciltiies. </p>
<p>Ginger Hotels, is also one of the first budget hotels to offer rooms specially designed for the physically challenged guests. </p>
<p>CEO Prabhat Pani expects to have 50 Ginger Hotels nationwide by 2010. </p>
